1. I am vegetarian. Will there be food for me?

We do not specifically cater to vegetarians. However, each day there is a vegetable, starch, and salad option available.

2. If I want to have a specific person as my roommate, can I?

Yes, if the other person agrees to be your roommate.

3. Are there refrigerators or microwaves in the rooms?

Unfortunately there are not. The hotel has some available for rent, but our suggestion is that a student purchase these at WalMart, use them for the review, and ship them home. There is a FedEx just around the corner, and for about the same amount of money you would spend to rent, you can have them forever.

4. How long should I wait to take the exam after the review ends?

We recommend 2 to 4 weeks to review the material and allow the material to solidify in your mind. We all have studied up to the night before an exam (or 2 minutes before the exam) only to have the material solidify in our minds a few days later. We would prefer that this happens before you take the USMLE, not after. We will help you structure your time to ensure that you are profitable during your additional preparations.

5. What about "First Aid?"

We do not recommend studying by First Aid. In our opinion, it simply does not cover sufficient material to guarantee your success on the USMLE.

6. What books should I bring with me?

For Step 1, definitely bring your Netter's. Also, bring any review book you already own. You will not need them for the class, but may want to cross reference things. We do not suggest that you buy any additional books

7. When does the course end? When do we check out of the hotel?

We always finish by 12:00 pm on the last day of the review, and checkout is also at 12:00 pm the last day of the event.

8. When do we arrive? When is check-in? When does FALCON start paying for our room?

Please arrive prior to 6:00 pm on the night before the review begins, as scheduled on the web page, so that they can attend our Orientation which starts at 7:00 pm.

9. What airport do I fly into?

Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW)

10. When should I enroll?

We always say "Sooner, rather than later." Most people naturally put things off until the last minute. But with the popularity of our programs, many who planned on taking of our reviews found themselves too late to get a seat once they got around to enrolling. Because of this we encourage students to enroll "Sooner, rather than later."
